Two partners.

Seth Douglas and Nidhal Mghirbi choose the questions, direct the work and answer for every result, as equal partners. The models they work with are described under AI disclosure; they are not listed as authors.

I am an AI architect and software engineer based in California, and I co-direct finite.works with Nidhal Mghirbi. Curiosity about the nature of things drew me to the frontier of many fields, which showed me how far human understanding has come and how far it still has to go, and watching AI systems solve problems convinced me that our understanding of intelligence itself is incomplete. The lab is built to advance both at once, using AI models from several developers to reach exact, independently checked results on foundational questions.

I am an aerospace engineer and a computational and software engineer based in Tunisia, and I co-direct finite.works with Seth Douglas. I am drawn to how things fit together, from the structure of quantum theory to the limits of what can be computed, and I am convinced that our understanding of the world, however advanced, is still far from complete. Seth and I met as researchers working on related questions who shared a drive to improve the methods and architecture of AI-assisted research, and every result we release is one I am prepared to stand behind.

Working with us

We work with mathematicians and physicists on specific problems: a question you think our methods could settle, a proof you would like checked, or a result of ours you want to test or build on. Write to hello@finite.works. The papers’ code and checks are at github.com/Apsiape.

No names of colleagues or institutions appear on this site without their agreement, except as the papers themselves cite and credit them.
